Allow serum to clot. Centrifuge serum or plasma 10 minutes at 3000 rpm. | |

Frozen (preferred). Room temperature or referigerated specimen also acceptable. | |

Room Temperature: 8 hours. Refrigerated: 5 days. Frozen: 30 days(-20°C). | |
Rejection criteria: |
Gross hemolysis. Stability limits exceeded. Specimen collected in serum separator tube. | |
