Improperly labeled/identified specimens. Specimens stored or transported beyond stability limits. Expired transport device used. Improper collection tube used. Specimen received frozen. | |

Qualitative immunoassay to detect antibodies to Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) 1 and/or 2. Test progresses to an HIV confirmation (HIVCC) at an additional charge if the results of this assay are positive. This confirmatory testing is required and performed at GMC. | |
