A positive beta 2 glycoprotein antibody can be used in conjunction with clinical findings and other laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis of certain autoimmune thrombotic disorders such as those secondary to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or related antiphospholipid syndrome. | |
