Mary Gummerson, BS, MT (ASCP)

Mary Gummerson is a technical specialist in the Blood Bank on the Geisinger Medical Center (GMC)Campus in Danville, Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire and completed medical technology training at GMC School of Medical Technology in 1981.

Mary is board certified as a medical technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP).

She has worked in the Blood Bank at GMC since 1982. Since 1994 she hs been responsible for maintaining computer regulatory compliance (FDA and AABB).
