Tammy Wertz

Tammy Wertz is the technical specialist on second shift in GML's Receiving and Processing Department at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Tammy has over ten years' experience as a laboratory assistant and is now responsible for the preanalytic quality of the specimens received at GML.

Tammy and her staff of trained laboratory assistants make sure each specimen received is properly labeled, accessioned, and processed.
