Dr. Schuerch is the Chairman of the Division of Laboratory Medicine, Geisinger Medical Laboratories.

Education:

He received his M.D. at SUNY - Brooklyn Downstate Medical Center, with residency training at Hartford Hospital and a fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Certifications:

He is certified in anatomic pathology, with specialization in head and neck pathology, neuropathology, soft tissue and bone pathology, thoracic pathology, and flow cytometry.

Research interests:

Flow cytometry, patient safety, laboratory quality improvement.
