Therese
Snyder is a graduate of Marywood College Graduate School of Social Work
in Scranton, Pennsylvania, receiving her Master's degree in Social Work in
1983.
She also attended Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pennsylvania,
where
she received
her Bachelor
of Arts degree in 1971.
Ms. Snyder, together with Division Chairman Dr. Conrad Schuerch, provides administrative leadership for the laboratory division of the Geisinger Health System (GHS). This encompasses three hospital laboratories at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV) and Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre (GSWB), as well as laboratories in over 40 physician offices. This involves 3.8 million laboratory tests, 577 technical and support employees, and 21 doctoral staff members. She has 24 years' hospital management and administrative experience and has been with Geisinger since 1974.
