Clinical significance: |
Test is used to determine if a patient has circulating antibodies directed against neutrophil-specific antigens. Neutrophil antibodies have been described in neonatal alloimmune neutropenia, autoimmune neutropenia, transfusion reactions, and drug-induced neutropenia. The assay cannot distinguish between anti-neutrophil antibodies and antibodies directed against HLA markers. |
