5 mL aliquot of fluid; minimum 1 mL.

Stools (formed or loose) are NOT suitable for analysis.

Refrigerated.


Specimen stability: 

Stable 4 hours at room temperature or refrigerated.


Rejection criteria: 

Stability limits exceeded. Stools (formed or loose) are not suitable for analysis.
