Clinical significance: 

Antimicrobial susceptibility tesing is usually performed using a panel of antibiotics which may be appropriate for treatment of a particular bacterium or yeast. Additional antibiotics/antifungals may be added by clinician request (when appropriate). Pharmacy or Infectious Disease consult may be required for special circumstances.
