SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions: 

Serum: Allow to clot. Serum or Plasma: Centrifuge and aliquot. CSF: do not centrifuge.


Transport temperature: 

Refrigerated.


Specimen stability: 

Room temperature: 48h hours. Refrigerated: 7 days. Frozen: 30 days.


Rejection criteria: 

Specimens collected in heparin tubes are unacceptable for testing.
