Serum must be separated from cells within 48 hours of collection.

Refrigerated.
Specimen stability:
Room temperature: 72 hours. Refrigerated: 28 days. Frozen: 28 days.
Rejection criteria:
Stability limits exceeded.

12/03/2024 Anti-Amphiphysin antibody is found in patients with sensory neuropathy, Stiff-Person syndrome, paraneoplastic encephalomyelitis (PEM), limbic encephalitis, or myelopathy. This semi-quantitative assay may useful in monitoring therapeutic responses in select cases.
