Special notes: 

Gel/serum-separator tubes are NOT acceptable.



SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions: 

Centrifuge and remove serum from cells.


Transport temperature: 

Room temperature.


Specimen stability: 

Room temperature: 7 days. Refrigerated: 21 days. Frozen 2 years.


Rejection criteria: 

Gross hemolysis. Gross lipemia. Serum Separator Tube (SST®).
