10 grams random stool (minimum 3 grams) in a plastic leak-proof container


Special notes: 

Collect fresh stool in a plastic, leak-proof container.

Frozen.


Specimen stability: 

Refrigerated: 24 hours. Frozen: 60 days.


Rejection criteria: 

Specimens received at room temperature. Specimens received refrigerated. Specimens in paint cans.
