Positive U1RNP antibodies can be used in conjunction with clinical findings and other laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis of Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD) and other ANA-associated CTDs such as SLE and Systemic Sclerosis. This assay detects antibodies to 3 RNP protein components (A, C, and 70kDa).
