Preferred collection container: 
Specimen required: 

50 mL urine; minimum 20 mL. Consult with Toxicology Laboratory if specimen volume is less than minimum requirement.



SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions: 

Must follow forensic processing protocol.


Transport temperature: 

Refrigerated (preferred) or room temperature.


Specimen stability: 

Room temperature: 2 days. Refrigerated: 14 days.


Rejection criteria: 

Stability limits exceeded. Deviation from chain of custody (consult with Toxicology Laboratory).
