12/05/2024 Inhibin A is useful as an indicator of gonadal function, and ovarian response to hMg or to FSH stimulation. Inhibin A, produced by the placenta, is used along with other maternal serum biochemical markers to improve sensitivity of the screen for Down Syndrome risk.
