SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions: 

Separate serum or plasma from cells and submit in a plastic screw-cap vial. Protect from light.


Transport temperature: 

Frozen. Protect from light.


Specimen stability: 

Room temperature: Unacceptable. Refrigerated: Unacceptable.Frozen: 30 days


Rejection criteria: 

Specimen collected in serum separator tubes. Specimen not frozen. Specimen not protected from light.
