Processing instructions:
Centrifuge, separate, freeze 1 mL of potassium oxalate/sodium fluoride plasma immediately in plastic vial and send frozen.
Transport temperature:
Frozen.
Specimen stability:
Room temperature: 7 days. Refrigerated: 7 days. Frozen: 1 year.
Rejection criteria:
Sodium heparin (green-top) tube.
