Specimen required: 

Per patient order, draw 13 tubes for 20%, 24 tubes for 50%, and 22 tubes for 100% serum concentration.


Special notes: 

Processed by appointment only at GMC and GSWB. Blood drawn by appointment only at GMC and GSWB. For GMC Call 570-271-5555, extension 53896. For GSWB, call Ophthalmology at 570-808-3234. Please leave a message if no one answers. Draw and processing available Monday-Friday by appointment. Prep patient skin with chlorhexidine swab. Clean each tube top with alcohol prep pad and label first tube drawn with “QC” on patient label. For additional questions call Client Services at 1-800-695-6491.



SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions: 

Processed by Stem Cell Lab at GMC by appointment only. Processed by GSWB Lab by appointment only. Allow serum to clot and send serum to Stem Cell Lab for GMC draws and GSWB Lab for GSWB draws.


Specimen stability: 

Must be processed within 24 hours of draw.
