Immunoglobulin E value and class for the following five (5) allergens: Honeybee venom (I1) white faced hornet (I2), yellow jacket venom (I3), paper wasp venom (I4), yellow hornet (I5). If Honeybee is positive, 5 components are included (I208, I214, I215, I216, I217). If Paper wasp is positive, 1 component is included (I210). If Yellow Jacket is positive, 2 components are included (I209, I211).
Many allergies are mediated by immunoglobulins of the IgE class. In vitro allergen-specific IgE tests can help the physician identify the allergen (or allergens) to which an individual is sensitive.
