Lymph node for lymphoma: RPMI solution. 
Renal (LAB4097): See Renal biopsy
Muscle (LAB4097): See Muscle Biopsy 
Nerve (LAB4097): See Nerve Biopsy 
Placenta for Surgical Pathology (LAB4262) 
Gout Crystals: 100% alcohol or non-sterile specimen container without preservative. 


Special notes: 

Breast specimens must include documentation of beginning of ischemic time and beginning of formalin fixation time.



SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Transport temperature: 

Fresh tissue: Refrigerate. Fixed tissue in formlin: Room temperature.
