50 mL of an appropriately collected voided, catheterized, or cystoscopically obtained urine specimen.
Special notes:
Add equal volume of Saccomanno fixative. Label container with patient name and medical record number.

Rejection criteria:
Inadequate patient identifiers on specimen, unlabeled specimen, discrepancy between patient specimen and requisition information, improper collection.
