Processing instructions: 

Allow to clot. Centrifuge 10 minutes at 3000 rpm.


Transport temperature: 

Refrigerated (preferred) or frozen.


Specimen stability: 

Room temperature: 7 days. Refrigerated: 14 days. Frozen: 30 days.


Rejection criteria: 

Gross hemolysis, grossly lipemic, grossly icteric. Stability limits exceeded.
