SPECIMEN COLLECTION
Specimen type: 

Miscellaneous body fluid. Acceptable body fluid per testing location.


Preferred collection container: 
Specimen required: 

1 mL aliquot of fluid; minimum 0.5 mL.

Please specify fluid type on request.



SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions: 

Centrifuge to remove any cellular material.


Transport temperature: 

Refrigerated (preferred). Room temperature or frozen also acceptable.


Specimen stability: 

Room temperature: 5 days. Refrigerated: 1 week. Frozen: 4 weeks.


Rejection criteria: 

Stability limits exceeded.
