Specimen required:
2 mL aliquot of serum or plasma; minimum 1.0 mL.
SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions:
Allow serum to clot. Centrifuge and aliquot serum or plasma.
Transport temperature:
Refrigerated.
Specimen stability:
Room Temperature: 4 days. Refrigerated: 7 days. Frozen: 10 months.
Rejection criteria:
EDTA plasma samples are not acceptable.
