Specimen required: 

2 mL aliquot of serum; minimum 0.5 mL



SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Processing instructions: 

Clot at 37 degrees C. Centrifuge at ambient temperature and immediately separate serum.


Transport temperature: 

Room temperature.


Specimen stability: 

Room Temperature: 2 weeks. Refrigerated: 28 days. Frozen: Unacceptable.


Rejection criteria: 

Frozen specimens unacceptable. Specimens collected in serum separator tube unacceptable.
