12/17/2024 IgD (molecular weight 185 kD) is one of the 5 classes of human immunoglobulins. IgD accounts for less than 1% of the total plasma immunoglobulins. Very high serum IgD concentrations can be found in multiple myeloma patients. Raised levels are also found in hyperimmunoglobulinemia IgD syndrome (HIDS).
