Specimen processing instructions: |
Let mixture stand for 10 minutes and centrifuge. Separate from cells then respin the aliquot and separate one more time from the top down with a pipette to eliminate all red cells. Submit supernatant fluid for assay. | |

Refrigerated (preferred) or frozen. | |
Specimen stability: |
Room Temperature: Unacceptable. Refrigerated: 1 month. Frozen: 3 months (-20°). | |

Room temperature specimen unacceptable. | |
