Minimum draw one 4 mL EDTA tube provided with kit. Transfer immediately to the plastic bottle containing 35 mg ascorbic acid (also provided with kit). Mix and freeze. Send frozen. | |
Patient preparation: |
Patient should avoid foods high in indoles: avocado, banana, tomato, plum, walnut, pineapple, and eggplant. Patient should also avoid tobacco, tea, and coffee for three (3) days before collection. | |
