Either serum or plasma is acceptable. Do not use a serum separator tube.

None.

SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Specimen processing instructions:
Allow serum to clot. Centrifuge serum or plasma 10 minutes at 3000 rpm. 
Transport temperature:
Room temperature.
Specimen stability:
Room Temperature: 15 days. Refrigerated: 30 days. Frozen: 30 days (-20°C).
Rejection criteria:
The use of a serum separator (SS) tube is not acceptable. Submission of a serum separator tube will result in specimen rejection.
