Specimen required:
1.8 mL aliquot plasma; minimum 0.8 mL. Please submit a separate frozen aliquot for this test. It may not be combined with any other test requiring a frozen aliquot.
Patient preparation:
Patient should be ambulatory for 30 minutes before draw.

SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Specimen processing instructions:
Centrifuge and aliquot. Freeze and ship samples on dry ice. 
Transport temperature:
Frozen.
Specimen stability:
Room temperature: 24 hours. Refrigerated: 24 hours. Frozen: 28 days.
Rejection criteria:
Room temperature and refrigerated specimens unacceptable. Plasma collected in plasma separator tube unacceptable. Moderate to gross hemolysis.
