Dr. Cao is an associate of Geisinger Medical Laboratories at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. He is also an assistant professor at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.

Education:

Dr. Cao received his medical degree from Shandong Medical University, Ji'nan, Shandong, China. He also holds a master’s degree from Beijing Medical University, Beijing, China, and a PhD in Cancer Cell Biology from West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia.  Dr. Cao completed his residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Missouri-Columbia Program and fellowship training in GI pathology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York.
