Dr. Pramick received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and surgical pathology and cytopathology fellowships at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, also in Philadelphia.

She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. Her areas of interest are breast pathology, cervical gynecolgic pathology, GI pathology, cytopathology and thyroid pathology.
