Dr. Xiaohong Zhang is an associate of the Geisinger Medical Laboratories at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Education:

She received her MD from University of Geneva, Switzerland, in 1991 and her PhD in Pathophysiology from The Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing, China. She completed residency training at Miami University/Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, and fellowships in surgical pathology at Harbor Medical Center-UCLA, Los Angeles, California, and in hematopathology at UCLA.

Certifications:

She is board certified in both anatomic pathology and clinical pathology and hematology. She specializes in hematology, hematopathology and breast, gynecologic and gastrointestinal pathology.
