Tammy Germini is the Director of Laboratory Excellence for Geisinger Medical Laboratories. She received her Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and completed her clinical training at Moses H. Cone School of Medical Technology. Tammy has over 15 years of laboratory experience. She comes to us from Spectrum Laboratory Network in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she served as the remote site stat lab manager. She has also held various technical and supervisory positions and served as an instructor and clinical site coordinator for Winston-Salem State University.

Barbara Booth is the service improvement coordinator for Geisinger's Northeast Laboratories. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Bloomsburg University and completed her clinical internship at the Scranton Medical Technology Consortium. She has over 22 years' experience in laboratory medicine as a medical technologist and laboratory quality management coordinator. Barbara is board-certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
Karen Kile, BS, MT(ASCP)
Service Improvement Coordinator
Geisinger Regional Laboratories
Karen Kile is a Geisinger Regional Laboratories (GRL) Team Leader who has taken on the service improvement activities of those laboratories. Karen was formerly the supervisor of Laboratory Collections at GMC and has also served GML as a clinical laboratory supervisor for the Eastern Region Laboratories and as a medical technologist in the former Radioimmunoassay Laboratory. She also worked as a med tech at Bloomsburg Hospital in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania. Karen received her Bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University completed her internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania. She is board certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
