Clinical Chemistry

The Chemistry Laboratories in the Geisinger Health System consist of several technical sections, including general chemistry, automated chemistry, toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring, blood gases, electrolytes, endocrinology and specialized stat testing to support critical care and emergency medicine services. Testing methods are standardized across the entire Geisinger System, whether testing is performed in hospital labs, outpatient clinic sites, or at the bedside. The Chemistry Laboratories remain committed to improving the interpretability of their host of laboratory tests with well established population norms, graphic reports, and timely, user-friendly delivery.
